Denise CDA — I’m one of the “new” staff members of the office-being here for only 14 years! I do however, have over 24 years experience in the dental field with experience with the front desk and with surgical assisting. I receive a lot of compliments on my smile and it took work to get it this way! I’ve experienced braces as an adult, root canal treatment, crowns, and a dental implant. If you want to know about any of these procedures from a “patient’s point of view”, feel free to ask me! My most favorite thing to do is laugh! I really enjoy making others laugh and enjoy their dental visit. My motto is…brush, floss, laugh-REPEAT!!

Robin — Robin attended Hodgson Vo-Tech in the Dental Assisting Program. She worked as an assistant and at the front desk for a Periodontist in the Wilmington area for twelve and a half years. She has been with our practice for fifteen years and is currently office manager. Robin has two children and three grandchildren. She loves summer and spending time at the beach.

Theresa, RDH — A Delaware native, I have been in this small state all my life and have been in the dental field since 1985. I am a twice graduate if Delaware Technical & Community College, first in 1985 for dental assisting, then in 1994 for dental hygiene. When I’m not at work, I enjoy going to the beach, working out at the Y.M.C.A., and spending time with family and friends. I have been married for 28 years and I live in the Bear area. I have three children, one grandson, and two dogs. I like working one-on-one with patients to make their dental visit and enjoyable one. I have been employed with Dr. Calhoon since 2007 and love working with such a wonderful staff!

Nicole, RDH — For more than 23 years, I’ve worked in dental hygiene with the goal of helping my patients achieve and maintain ideal oral health. Since joining Dr. Calhoon’s office in 2014, I have enjoyed meeting new patients and catching up with established ones. I am also passionate about giving my best individualized care daily, making patients feel comfortable, and easing their fears. I love seeing the improvement in my patients’ mouths while undergoing periodontal therapy and seeing fears turn into enthusiasm! I enjoy gardening, cooking, baking, reading, traveling, and of course, spending time with friends and family.
